Eddie was born and raised in Los Angeles. He has been active in the break-dance and hip hop community for the past two decades, in California and Las Vegas. Eddie's dance journey began in his former Kung-fu school as a youth, learning about form, acrobatics, flexibility, strength, confidence and respect. At the age of 12 Eddie was taught a few break-dance moves from a friend and the rest is history. Adapting what he learned from martial arts, Eddie excelled in break-dancing and then later adapted what he learned from break-dancing into hip hop choreo. At 17 he was the youngest member to join Culture Shock LA and then later formed his own collegiate hip hop dance team, Urban Youth. As a senior in high school he was the director of the Filipino Cultural Dance Club. Eddie has worked with such teams as KabaModern, Knucklehead Zoo, SuperCrew, Jabbawockeez, and the Lohan School of Shaolin Lion Dancing Team. Eddie was the founder of Runaway Tribe breakdancing crew and is currently active in Culture Geist Crew. Eddie has a deep passion for dance and community.
