Elizabeth is trained in Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Improvisation. She received her professional training at the University of Utah where she received a minor in Modern Dance, and a BS in Communications. She performed with Odyssey Dance Theater in Salt Lake City where she participated in the popular shows “Thriller” and “Shut up and Dance.” While living in San Antonio, she performed at Sea World Parks and Entertainment as part of the “Jack is Back” show. She also was a guest performer with San Antonio Dance Umbrella. She loves to share her love of dance and has been doing so through teaching for the last 7 years. She has a strong passion for the success of her students.
Jermaine is originally from Detroit, MI. and started dancing at the age of 17, where he first started in Ballroom. Shortly after, he furthered his dance training in the styles of Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Musical Theater under the direction of Anthony Smith and Tony Award Winner Marilyn McCormick. After graduating high school, Jermaine attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia where he continued his studies in dance. While earning his B.F.A in Dance, Jermaine has studied from world-renown choreographers and teachers such as: Liz Imperio, Desmond Richardson, Allison Holker, Ebony Williams, Molly Misgalla and Roni Koresh. Jermaine has traveled to countries like Mexico and France, where he has taught and studied the language of dance from different cultures.
Kristal is originally from Aurora, Colorado. She began her dance career at the age of 4 studying Ballet, Jazz and Tap. By the age of 8, she was competing in dance competitions and conventions around the nation. Recognized for her tap ability, she received scholarships to tap programs such as, Tap City New York, MADD Rhythms in Chicago and the St. Louis Tap Festival. She was accepted in to the Denver School of the Arts dance department under the guidance of Alicia Karczewski, Michael O’Banion and Cleo Parker Robinson where she attended from middle through high school. Kristal received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia studying under artists Sidra Bell, Roni Koresh, Molly Misgalla and Douglas Becker.
Heather is originally from Maine, Heather began her ballet training at age 6. By high school was enrolled in a pre-professional ballet program. She received her BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music as well as her Deaf Studies Certificate. Upon graduating, Heather was cast in the iconic “Jubilee!” at Bally’s, Las Vegas. Heather has primarily performed in musicals. Recent shows have included: Big Fish (Super Summer Theatre), What the Butler Saw (Las Vegas Little Theatre), Broadway Under the Stars (SST), The Wedding Singer (SST), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (SST), Beauty and the Beast (SST), and Spamalot (SST).
Eddie was born and raised in Los Angeles. He has been active in the break-dance and hip hop community for the past two decades, in California and Las Vegas. Eddie's dance journey began in his former Kung-fu school as a youth, learning about form, acrobatics, flexibility, strength, confidence and respect. At the age of 12 Eddie was taught a few break-dance moves from a friend and the rest is history. Adapting what he learned from martial arts, Eddie excelled in break-dancing and then later adapted what he learned from break-dancing into hip hop choreo. At 17 he was the youngest member to join Culture Shock LA and then later formed his own collegiate hip hop dance team, Urban Youth. As a senior in high school he was the director of the Filipino Cultural Dance Club. Eddie has worked with such teams as KabaModern, Knucklehead Zoo, SuperCrew, Jabbawockeez, and the Lohan School of Shaolin Lion Dancing Team. Eddie was the founder of Runaway Tribe breakdancing crew and is currently active in Culture Geist Crew. Eddie has a deep passion for dance and community. He strives to inspire and change the world through dance.
Aloha is originally from Hilo,Hawaii. She began dancing Polynesian at 8 years old. From there she expanded forward to become a cheerleader from 7th-12th grade. Senior year she became fixated on being a dancer. She furthered her training in styles such as Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Acro, Improv and even Horton at Del Sol Academy. She became a teacher quickly after graduating high school. Began training even more, with The Village Dance Collective and is now under the direction of Lonnie Chaney. She’s performed at Legends in Concert, NBA Summer League, at The Venetian Hotel, with B2K on their Millennium Tour and many more!
Lauren was born and raised here in Las Vegas and has loved performing from an early age. She realized her true passion for acting her senior year of high school while acting in the spring musical. She is majoring in Stage and Screen Acting over at UNLV and will be graduating in the fall! Her most recent projects were Legally Blonde with the Nevada Conservatory Theatre and Spring Awakening at Majestic Repertory Theatre which won 5 Valley Theatre Awards! She hopes to teach her students how important it is to work together and to connect with an audience. What we do on stage can leave lasting impacts.
Shané is a Washington, D.C. native and began training at the age of 3 at Jacire Performing Arts Academy in District Heights, M.D., where she studied dance and theatre. She then furthered her dance training at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Washington School of Ballet, The Dance Institute of Washington, and Jones Haywood School of Dance. While attending Duke Ellington, Ms. Johnson participated in IABD where she performed in Toronto, Canada and Denver, Colorado. After graduating from Duke Ellington, she attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, P.A. majoring in Dance with a concentration in Ballet Performance and received her B.F.A. During her years at Uarts, Shané received scholarships to train at Earl Mosley Institute (EMIA), and Alonzo King Lines Ballet summer intensives. In senior year of Uarts, Shané received an invitation to become a company member of DanceSpora Contemporary Dance Theatre and Carbon Contemporary Dance Theatre. After graduating, Shané took two contracts with Princess Cruise Lines, sailing through the Mediterranean Sea, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, and many more. Shané taught Contemporary Jazz at The Dance Institute of Washington, New School of Dance and Arts, and was the Dance Educator at Kettering Middle School located in PG County M.D.
Hailey is so excited to be a member of the Glow family! She has been dancing for 5 years and hopes to continue dancing for many, many more. She has been fortunate enough to dance on many stages, in many places. "I remember my first dance class like it was yesterday and from then on I’ve been in love." For the past two years she's been on a competition team as well as her school dance team. With these two programs she has danced at Disneyland, The Fashion Show Mall, Chinese New Year parade, Legends in concert and many more! She can’t wait to share her love of dance with all of you!
McKenzie has been competing in dance and gymnastics since she was 3 years old. She has won many first place trophies over the last decade as a part of a competitive dance team as well as a soloist and is excited to use her experience to teach our little's how to use their love of gymnastics in the dance arena. McKenzie enjoys learning all types of dance, but also enjoys art, singing, and spending time with her dance family. She has performed on the strip in The Legends in Concert and currently is an exemplary student at Somerset College Prep. She aspires to own her own dance studio one day! Her kindness and love of dance radiates inside and out of the classroom.
